About Collection: This “Limited-Edition Holiday Splendor Collection” has been inspired by an old world-Eastern European family, who for almost 200 years had been painting beautiful miniature lacquered paper-mâché boxes inlaid with mother of pear. It took years of perfecting this technique to establish this new and innovative form of painting that we now proudly present in our exclusive G. DeBrekht Glass ornaments in approximate size: 5” x 5.5”. As in the old days, they are made from 1.5 mm hand-blown Mercury Glass, silver powdered from the inside and then sandblasted from the outside. Combining colors and multi-layer painting techniques create an iridescent solid effect. We take pride in perfecting every piece by adding touches of gold, finishing them with a lovely satin ribbon, and presenting them in a luxurious satin-lined box. Every piece is handmade in the USA and is unique- a piece that will be passed on to future generations to cherish.
